DIYeStores Help
If you are a client of DIYeStores, or about to become one, you might need some assistance with your website setup. Not only am I client of DIY, but I am also one of their client assistants, so I am very capable of providing you with these services. I am offering some basic services to help you get your website ready sooner, rather than later.
Website Setup: $100
Our DIYeStores setup service includes the following items.
- Uploading of your graphics
- Configuration of shopping cart
- Category setup
- Welcome/Enter page content added
- Order Info page content added
- Contacts page setup
- Guest Book page customization
You would need to add your own products and create your About Us and your Splash (main store) page. No other services are included with this package, but MAY be added for an additional fee. We will contact you for your information. Please allow up to 2 weeks for the completion of your site’s setup.

Custom Enter Page: $30
The default setup for DIYeStores sites is to have a Welcome/Enter page (technically, this is your home page, where your actual domain appears). From this page, customers click on your logo or some text in order to enter your store and reach your splash page (which is the main store page). Many DIY clients choose to redirect their site from the Welcome page to the Splash Page, so that customers don’t have to click to enter the store. The problem with this is that search engines do not like redirects, so in solving one problem, you are essentially creating another.
The best solution to this problem is to have a Custom Enter Page created, a page that exactly matches your Splash Page. It makes things much easier for your customers, and it’s better for the search engines. To see an example of this, visit my retail site, Pip Berry Place. The first page you reach is the Custom Enter page. This exactly matches the Pip Berry Place Splash Page.
