Heads Up If You Make Products for Kids!

If you make products for children under 12–or even if the products you make can be interpreted by consumers as being meant for children under 12–you need to get informed about the CPSIA Law, which goes into effect on February 10. This law mandates that testing for lead content be done on all products manufactured for children under the age of 12. Just to offer a few examples of products being manufactured by WAHM’s and other small business owners: Dolls, Diapers, Hairbows, Jewelry, Hats, Clothing, Books, Toys, Purses, just to name a few.
