Wholesalers: Spill the Beans, Please!

I’ve been looking around on websites today, searching for new products that I might like to purchase wholesale for resale on my website. And I tell you what, it is amazing to me–and equally as annoying–how often I land on websites that offer wholesale, but that provide absolutely NO info on their wholesale terms. If I am going to apply for wholesale access to a website, I want to know that site’s terms UP FRONT. It is a waste of time for me (and for them) to grant me wholesale access and then, after the fact, send me their terms!

If you’ve got a $200 order minimum, then I can’t afford to buy your products wholesale. So if you would provide this information up front, before I request access, then I can save us both a lot of time and hassle in terms of requesting access that I may not even need.

And while I’m on the topic of wholesale…for you folks that offer wholesale, when you are replying to our email request, would you PLEASE include the URL to your website in the email? I apply for WS access to sites all the time–sometimes numerous sites in one day. So it would be really helpful to know which site I am getting access to. To me, that is just common sense, but I get emails all the time being granted wholesale access to a site, and I have no clue what website it’s for. So then I have to email again and ask for the URL!

Ideally, you should have your website URL in your email signature anyway–that is just good advertising, if nothing else. But it is also very helpful for the reason I just stated too.
